The Bulls are showing serious interest in the veteran point guard.<\/p>\n<p>A major attraction in Chicago for Westbrook is the fact that the team is coached by Billy Donovan under whom Russ played for four years in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n<p>According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, Donovan relayed a message to his former player that Chicago is the place for him.<\/p>\n<p>Via HoopsHype:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>Chris Haynes: \u201cLet\u2019s talk about Russell Westbrook real quick. I was told Billy Donovan with the Bulls, his message has been relayed to Russ, that Chicago should be the place for him. So I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know if they\u2019ve talked extensively. I don\u2019t know if it was a text.
