In a landmark deal, Amazon\u2019s Prime Video becomes the official streaming partner of the Seattle Storm and one of the first streaming services to hold local broadcast rights to a team in the WNBA.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to coverage of the Storm, WNBA coverage on Prime Video returns with 17 exclusive, nationally televised in-season games, including the second annual WNBA Commissioner\u2019s Cup by Coinbase and the Cup Championship Game on July 26. The Commissioner\u2019s Cup is an in-season competition that designates a portion of games\u201410 per team\u2014as Cup play. The team with the top record from each conference in Cup play will then compete in the Commissioner\u2019s Cup Championship Game for a special prize pool. Exclusive, national coverage of the 2022 WNBA season on Prime Video begins Sunday, May 8, when the Los Angeles Sparks take on the Indiana Fever. Games on Prime Video will also be distributed in participating teams\u2019 markets through respective, local distribution partners.<\/p>\n
