The Los Angeles Lakers are getting closer to having their Big 3 back on the court as Anthony Davis continues his recovery from a sprained MCL in his knee.

In addition, Kendrick Nunn, who joined the team this past offseason is expected to come back at some point after missing all games so far this season due to a knee injury.

At the time of this reporting, the Lakers have 17 players on their roster. This number includes 10-day hardship deals. Having that many players on the roster will give provide a different challenge to head coach Frank Vogel who will have to decide how to manage the rotation.

“Some guys are not going to play every night,” Vogel said. “Part of our stretch if we are fully healthy is that we’re going to have some rotational guys that might not be in that rotation on that night or or that stretch of games. Our guys all understand that.

“There’s definitely going to be some integration minutes with Trevor that you’re seeing right now. And with Kendrick when he comes back to make sure they learn their teammates, learn our system and show us what they can do. Obviously you can’t play everybody but everybody’s bought into the sacrifice necessary to accomplish our goals this year.”
