Russell Westbrook after poor performance vs. Kings: “I got no excuses”

The Los Angeles Lakers fell against the Sacramento Kings and have now lost two games in a row. It was a yet another disappointing game offensively for Russell Westbrook who scored just 8 points. He also grabbed 12 rebounds and dished 6 assists.

For the third straight game Westbrook scored less than ten points — way below his usual numbers. After the Sacramento game he took full responsibility for his struggles.

“I got no excuses. For me, I don’t point fingers. I always look at myself for ways to become better,” the 33-year-old point guard said.

This season Russ is averaging 19 points, 8.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game for Los Angeles. The Lakers are currently 8th in the Western Conference with 21 wins and 21 losses.
