Sports analyst Skip Bayless reacted to the news that LeBron James compared this year’s Lakers team to the 2020 Super Bowl winners the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to him, the comparison does not work because of the addition of Russell Westbrook.
“The fly in the ointment is Russell Westbrook. Because LeBron thought going in ‘I’m gonna get the best out of him,’ right? He hasn’t,” Bayless said on UNDISPUTED.
“He has failed miserably in that regard, right? Russ is leading the league in turnovers, leading the league in minutes played, pathetic from three and pathetic from the free-throw line. It’s such a liability that it’s hard to overcome,” he said continuing to make a point that the Lakers cannot be compared to the Bucs.
