Jrue Holiday after 40-point game: “The only stat I look at is turnovers”

Jrue Holiday went off for season-high 40 points as the Bucks defeated the Suns 131-125 at home. The 32-year-old point guard also had 5 rebounds and 7 assists.

But Holiday the most important statistic is his turnovers, not the number of points he scores. He had 5 of those in this game.

“For me, as long as we get the win, I’m OK,” Holiday said, per Ballislife.com on Twitter. “The only stat I look at is turnovers. That’s kind of how I determine if I had a good or bad game.”

This season Holiday is averaging 19.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 33.1 minutes per game.
