Grizzlies rule out two players ahead of clash with Lakers

The Memphis Grizzlies have ruled a couple of players ahead of their clash with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.

Steven Adams and Dillon Brooks will miss the game. Adams will be out for a few days, after entering the Covid-19 protocols. For his part, Brooks is not available, due to a left ankle sprain.

Four more Grizzlies players could be out vs the Lakers. Memphis lists Ja Morant, Kyle Anderson, Yves Pons and Desmond Bane as questionable for the contest. All four of them are dealing with injuries.

For their part, the Lakers have ruled out Anthony Davis and Kendrick Nunn for Sunday’s contest. Both teams will seek to extend their respective winning streaks. Memphis (27-14) has won its last eight games, while Los Angeles (21-19) has won four in a row.
