Avery Bradley: “Smaller lineup is activating us on both ends of the floor”

Avery Bradley had his second best game of the season in terms of scoring as he scored 21 points helping the Los Angeles Lakers win their fourth game in row by defeating the Atlanta Hawks.

The 31-year-old point guard was given an important task of guarding Atlanta’s young star Trae Young. While the Hawks leader scored 25 points, he made 9 turnovers which hurt his team offensively. According to Bradley, this fact shows that the Lakers did their job.

“I think a smaller lineup is activating us on both ends of the floor,” Bradley said after the Hawks game. “Like you said, we’re flying around, we’re executing our game plan, trying to make it as hard as we can on their star players. And I feel like we’re doing a great job as a group and we executed that tonight. Trae’s a very good player and he had nine turnovers and that shows that we did our job.”

This season Bradley is averaging 6.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 23.8 minutes per game for the Lakers.
